Anima Mundi is an experimental animation exploring the visceral journey of inner transformation. What began as a series of six static posters evolved into a rhythmic, hypnotic visual narrative—brought to life through the emergence of advanced AI motion tools.
The piece serves as a visualization of the artist’s psyche, mapping the turbulent yet sacred stages of bringing an idea into existence. Each of the six golden faces represents a distinct archetype of identity, merging into a single, unified form that dissolves the boundary between the external world and the inner self.

The Six Stages of Creation
The narrative follows a chronological descent into the creative spirit:
Initiation: The artist surrenders to their calling. It is the moment of commitment, where the “temple” of the mind opens to receive the first spark.
Doubt: Represented by the serpent, this stage explores the fear of incompetence and the weight of responsibility. It is here the artist confronts the law of “As above, so below,” realizing that their internal struggle dictates the external result.
Acceptance: The artist finds equilibrium. By acknowledging the natural law of balance, the “egg” appears above the head—the symbol of a fertile, maturing idea.
Birthing: The egg cracks, and the bird is born. This symbol of freedom is not separate from the creator; they are physically and spiritually one.
Release: The bird takes flight into the cosmos. The work is finished, the umbilical cord is cut, and the creation is finally liberated from the creator.
Peace: The storm subsides. A state of rest and resetting. The artist returns to the elements, empty and still, waiting for the cycle to begin again.
Story Development: The project originated from a foundation of dream-work and archetypal symbolism. With the advent of high-quality generative video (Midjourney), the series transitioned from a frozen moment in time into a living exploration of the creative pulse.

Using MidJourney, I generated initial visual material that captured the mood and themes of transformation.

In Photoshop Beta, I refined and composed collages—sometimes combining 2–3 different images generated in MidJourney and Adobe Firefly.
04 motion generation

From six selected final images, I created animated sequences using MidJourney Video, bringing still compositions into movement.
05 video editing + sound
- adobe after effects
In After Effects, I finalized the piece by adding transitions, effects, color correction, and sound, shaping the immersive atmosphere of the animation.
